MARCH 27-29/2015 Catalyst of Inspiration

In accordance with high standards, and after much contemplation and soul searching I began the journey of creating a media production that would inspire, uplift and share the wisdom and literature of old.

The catalyst to my pursuit of excellence for my audio book production was the inspiring true story of exile and deliverance of the profound author, Kahlil Gibran.

Kahlil Gibran, was born in 1883 to a poor Christian family in Lebanon and immigrated to the United States as an adolescent. His masterpiece, The Prophet,  is one of the most cherished books of our time and has sold millions of copies in more than twenty languages. An author and his story which has stood the tests of time.

FEB 21/2015 Early Beginings

It was around this time in the year that I decided to create a new business, a business that will encompass many fields of knowledge, skills, and wisdom. It was my intention and aspiration to develop a media production business to service entrepreneurs and businesses alike from all walks and backgrounds.

APRIL-MAY. Casting and Auditions ï»¿

At the foundation of any quality production are it's people, those who put their heart and soul into delivering the essence of an audio drama. Through brainstorming and proactive networking I gathered and inspired a team of friends and family to get on board for an enjoyable artistic journey of self discovery and realisation.

With the idea that every body has a song or a story to tell in ther voice, I guided, coached and directed my entourage of amateur actors into the recording studios to lay the ground work for the audio drama. With much organising, communicating and planning, the production was successful with all the characters being filled and voices recorded.

JUNE-AUG.  ï»¿Editing and Post-production

In digital video, photography, television and film, post-production refers to the tasks that must be completed or executed after the filming or shooting ends. The post-production experience through this journey was, with little doubt, a steep learning curve for myself as an audio production specialist. The early mornings and late nights, the battling through winter illness and the continuous campaign to motivate oneself and others was an enjoyable and transcendent experience.

The crucial tasks such as the editing of raw audio to inserting transition effects, working with voice and sound actors, and dubbing, to name a few of the many pre-production tasks were sometimes challenging and stimulating.
